Q.  Can I mail an album to be embossed?

A.  Yes, We emboss a lot of albums for customers out of town or even out of State. We do not charge for shipping and handling but it is the customer's responsibility to cover shipping charges to and from. We recommend using the U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail with tracking and insurance just in case. We can and do except Deliveries from all other Delivery services. Please ONLY send the parts of the album you need to have embossed. We do not want to have the responsible for you pictures and memorabilia.

Q.  What style of fonts can you emboss with and what sizes are available?

A.  We have three different types of fonts. They are Goudy, Script, and Block. We have three font sizes. We have 36 pt, 24 pt, 18pt, in all three fonts. See our Font Choices for examples.

Q.  Do you have any title suggestions for my album or spines?

A.  We have accumulated numerous ideas that can be embossed on your albums. See Titles and Quotes for a helpful list.

Q.  Do I have to go to a function that "Make it Personal" will be at to have an album embossed?

A.  No, You can mail your albums or just give us a call and we can have them done at anytime. We provide a Rubbermaid Bench (with a storage area under the seat) on our front porch that albums can be dropped off and picked up from. We recommend that anytime you want to drop off or pick up an album using the bench please contact us first so we know to be looking for the albums.

Q.  How long does it take to have an album embossed if I drop them off?

A.  If you are needing more than one or two lines embossed we recommend dropping the album covers off and picking them up at a pre-arranged time. We do quite a few emergency time frame embossing and can get it done as you wait. We recommend calling ahead and we will prepare the embosser and get the font type pulled so there will be minimal waiting.

Q. What is your pricing?

A.  We charge a flat rate of $6.00 a line of all embossing on the front and back covers of an album. We also charge $6.00 a line for embossing on the album spines going Vertical (Length Wise). If you want your embossing horizontal on the spine we only charge $4.00 for these lines because of the limited area. The amount of characters we can put on your line is limited by the albums size and font size. See Album Examples & Pricing. We do provide a reduced rate on all identical subsequent lines.

Q.  What if I don't know what I want to put on the album?

A.  We provide a list of recommendations for Titles & Quotes that have been used most frequently.

Q.  What parts of my album can I have embossed on?

A.  We can emboss on any area specified on the order form. We emboss on the front, back and spine. See Album Examples & Pricing for a few illustrations.

Q.  This is my first time to have an album embossed what is the first step I need to take?

A.  We recommend going to the Order Form Sheet and printing out one sheet for each album you are needing embossed. Then go to the Getting Started page and it will walk you how to fill out the order form.

Q. What size font is used most or do you recommend?

A.  We always recommend using the larges font possible. Sizes 36 and 24 are use the most on any album 5"x7" or larger. When using 18pt. remember it is not too much bigger then the type on a computer generated letter.

Q.  What is Identical Subsequent line? And what is the discount for the Identical Subsequent line?

A.  It is using the same Line on more than one Album or Area. For it to count toward the reduced rate it has to be the same line, same font & size. Color can be changed with out an additional charge. There is no limit for the amount of repeated lines. Here is an example: you want the title "The Gotcher Family" put on the front of four albums.

For this discount to apply the albums must be embossed at the same time.
